LARCEE gathers riders, walkers & rollers of all skill levels to claim their space on the LA River Shared Path, which is too often dominated by speeding cyclists who disregard the community and create a dangerous environment for others who recreate at the LA River. Slow Riders stand for the rights of pedestrians, families, young riders, elderly walkers - everyone who comes here - to have safe, friendly access to the LA River Greenway.

Ye Olde First Ever Elysian Valley Slow Ride

Injured Cyclist, Wheeled off by Paramedics
This cyclist tangled handlebars with another cyclist along the LA River Shared Path. It’s not the first time we’ve witnessed someone leaving the path via a stretcher. Safe, slow speeds benefit everyone.
Coyote Kids Walked the Slow Ride
It was so lovely to have Coyote Kids come walk the ride with us - pedestrians are welcome, and we will set you up with a shorter loop to and from the park.
