Pack your bike baskets - it’s time for Critical Cargo! Open to all, this ride is geared towards those riding with precious cargo…KIDS! We will gather at Lewis MacAdams Riverfront Park in Elysian Valley, then ride to Griffith Park for a picnic lunch. The park has free parking, water, and facilities.

Co-hosted with Ron Milam, founding Executive Director of the LACBC and cargo bike rider, this family-friendly gathering will feature an array of cargo bikes. Participants will have a chance to talk with owners about the ups and downs of navigating Los Angeles with young ones in tow, pros and cons of each bike, and becoming car-free with kids.

The Yuba Mundo cargo takes the strain out of an uphill ride into Griffith Park, even with 50lbs of kid passenger weight.
