Thanks to the generous support of the Coalition for Clean Air, LARCEE has been able to install Purple Air Sensors around the Metrolink Central Maintenance Facility located on San Fernando Road in Cypress Park.
We have multiple sensors both in Cypress Park and Elysian Valley, to “make the invisible visible”, and give our communities access to real time particulate matter data. Click here to find your area on the Coalition for Clean Air’s CLEAR map!
These sensors are an incredible support to our efforts, but we also want to track black carbon - one of the unique diesel pollutants - in our ongoing efforts to #MakeMetrolinkAccountable for its negative health and environmental impact on our neighborhoods.
