Every creature matters.
Air, noise and also water pollution extend from diesel based facilities such as Metrolink's CMF, where they regularly wash train engines. How does this impact local wildlife?
We know for sure that single-use plastics, from bags to water bottles have created an ecological crisis on the planet. We work to stop the flow of debris BEFORE it enters the river and makes its way to our oceans. Check our events page and sign up for our mailing list to get trashy with us!
Pick up some trash
Friends of the LA River (FOLAR) has been leading massive annual cleanups of the Los Angeles River for nearly three decades. We can help out any day of the year by simply keeping our own trash out of the river, off its banks, and shared paths and by not feeding wildlife. Tweet us a photo of your own stash of random trash you pick up @LARiverCEE
The first bag from our Saturday, October 10th Clean UP.
